At SHB we are proud to work in conjunction with Cornwall College to help train new stylists. As such we offer 1 or 2 apprenticeship opportunities each year. The apprentices work with us 4 days a week where they gain a huge amount of practical learning and experience. They also do 1 day at college where they learn the theory side of hairdressing.

We normally start recruiting for apprentices towards the end of the school year to allow us to start apprentices prior to their college course to give them a very big head start. If you would like the opportunity to train with us and perhaps even earn youself a permanent position at the salon please drop your CV into the salon, preferably with a recent photograph of yourself attached.

We are now looking to start the recruitment drive for apprentices for the 2010 placements so get your CV into us as quickly as possible as the start date will be mid July 2010.
